I bought my 04 2nd hand with a Pilot Road already fitted. When it finally was time to change I put on another of the same.
Reason; For a daily commuter it is a fantastic tyre. To date I have done just under 30,000klm since buying my bike. I have changed the front twice & the rear once.
I got 18000klm out of the rear that was on when I bought it & have over 10,000klm on the current rear. Looks about 40% worn.
I don't ride as hard as many of you, but I certainly don't baby it.
I'm fully aware it's not a "sport" tyre & I take care in the wet. Specially crossing those damn tram tracks.
