The weather in tassie is pretty good from October through to April best month i reckon is Febuary and thats coming from some one who lives in Tassie. There are plenty of good roads i could recommend that you guys do with plenty of corners!

One other time to come would be December when the toy run is on which runs from Burnie down to Hobart and usually attacts up to 5000 bike and is a great week end as most people overnight in Hobart the either cruise back up the west coast or head back up the east coast.
Once the date has been set for the toy run you would need to book accomadation quickly as the hotels usually fill up quite fast. tassie mra chapter usually run the event and post the dtaes on there website. regards Busa

I've never tried hand-grips but I do wonder whether they would compromise throttle control or whether they would make it easier to gaugePan, if you get the correct ones, thats the ones that sit under your std grips, you wouldnt even know they were there,so it is no compromise to throttle control at all,in fact if it farkin freezing and you cant feel your pinkies, they are definately a bonus well worth having. I think you are talking about heated grips, whereas the others were talking about sponge grips. Let's not get confused here! busa Wrote:The weather in tassie is pretty good from October through to April best month i reckon is Febuary and thats coming from some one who lives in Tassie.
