Handle Bar Raisers
#1
Just become the proud owner of my 1st Busa, a 2000 blue and silver dream machine. The one mod I need to make ASAP is to put higher bars on it (getting old now,, , me not the bike). I'm sure this question has been asked a thousand times but if any one can point me in the right direction as to whats available and wher to get them from. Cheers. BBB.

Welcome aboard Boomer.... while you're waiting, you can have a look here....

... there are two types... but the "x2" which is twice the normal riser height seems to be the most popular. The older I get, the better I was. Regards.... RobEdited by: AstroBusa at: 20/11/06 22:04

BBB,
There are variobars, Helibars and a few others out there all cost a bomb. Get some 25mm chrome thick wall pipe cut into 30mm lengths and put them under the top tripple tree with longer bolts. By far the cheapest solution and looks reasonably good 2.
Thats about as hight as you can go without hitting the brake and clutch res. on the screen. Bruce

Hellibars are good.

Kawasuki or Petespitstop should be able to help you out?

Highly recommended.

Cheers, Phil.

Mick Hone has an add in current AMC News showing HELI Risers. No prices but only a phone call away and you can haggle with steve or ziggy.

1" pipe and longer bolts $10.00

Dont get me wrong Helibars are a great product and Ray will give you the best price around (haggle with him). If you just want to lift the bars then go the pipe if you want bling at the same time talk to Ray. Bruce

Thanks for the suggestion. $10 sounds like a geat option for a first pass. If it doesnt do the job nothing lost. Cheers. BBB>

have a look around, undertails, screens, huggers, lights, bling on bling hahaha "Busa riders always count in three's.... 100, 200, 300"
