Handle Bar Raisers - BusaBabyBoomer - 20-11-2006 Just become the proud owner of my 1st Busa, a 2000 blue and silver dream machine. The one mod I need to make ASAP is to put higher bars on it (getting old now,, , me not the bike). I'm sure this question has been asked a thousand times but if any one can point me in the right direction as to whats available and wher to get them from. Cheers. BBB. Re: Handle Bar Raisers - Speedzalot - 20-11-2006 I think Kawasuki is your man, he should be along soon Arguing with idiots is like wrestling a pig in the mud, you both get dirty but the pig enjoys it! Re: Handle Bar Raisers - AstroBusa - 20-11-2006 Welcome aboard Boomer.... while you're waiting, you can have a look here.... www.zianet.com/Genmar/ ... there are two types... but the "x2" which is twice the normal riser height seems to be the most popular. The older I get, the better I was. Regards.... Get some 25mm chrome thick wall pipe cut into 30mm lengths and put them under the top tripple tree with longer bolts. By far the cheapest solution and looks reasonably good 2. Thats about as hight as you can go without hitting the brake and clutch res. on the screen. Bruce N2O no laughing matter Re: Handle Bar Raisers - GDYUP - 20-11-2006 Hellibars are good. Kawasuki or Petespitstop should be able to help you out? Highly recommended. Cheers, Phil. Re: Handle Bar Raisers - imagunna - 21-11-2006 Mick Hone has an add in current AMC News showing HELI Risers. No prices but only a phone call away and you can haggle with steve or ziggy. Re: Handle Bar Raisers - kawasuki - 21-11-2006 Need Heli bars $255AU. Cheers, Kawasuki Re: Handle Bar Raisers - BUSGO - 21-11-2006 aboard BBB. Enjoy life in the fast lane. Rgds BUSGO "TAKE MY ADVICE" I'm not using it anyway! Re: Handle Bar Raisers - Blackzook - 21-11-2006 1" pipe and longer bolts $10.00 Dont get me wrong Helibars are a great product and Ray will give you the best price around (haggle with him). If you just want to lift the bars then go the pipe if you want bling at the same time talk to Ray. Bruce N2O no laughing matter Edited by: Blackzook at: 21/11/06 21:29 Re: Handle Bar Raisers - BusaBabyBoomer - 22-11-2006 Thanks for the suggestion. $10 sounds like a geat option for a first pass. If it doesnt do the job nothing lost. Cheers.
