All I can say is that the mufti's comments do not reflect the feeling of the whole Australian Muslim community, just like the views of George Pell will never reflect the views of the entire Australian Catholic population, and so on and so forth.
He is just ONE GUY who is entitled to his own opinion (however warped it may be perceived), and, although I don't agree with John Howard 99% of the time (let's not go there LOL), I must say that he is right when he says we should take what the mufti says with a grain of salt, or maybe even just laugh it off.
