You don't send $20k on a bike and get use to it. Go back to the shop and stamp ya; feet.

+1 for the HEL lines. My 2011 will emergency brake with 2 singers Easy.

Doesn't sound right at all. You spent hard earned, now make them earn it.

You can turn ABS off via the ECU. But to overcome the problem you'll also need to remove the ABS lines and return to non ABS configuration.

But I'd persevere with bleeding the ABS.

There is another mob you can try that can fix the issue ..

They are called "department of fair trading" Knuppel2

These words alone put the fear of god into most dealers .. Coolsmiley

Have you got a mate with a Gen2 which has ABS, take it for a run and compare the difference. If you cant get hold of one from a mate take one from the Suzuki shop for a test run. If ther is a difference then complain like mad Knuppel2

SO Is anyone interested in buying it. I will sell it for $17000 registered to January 2015. Vic rego.
Mate, in one of your earlier posts you said the lever comes in a considerable way before you get brakes. I will bet that air is still trapped in the top of the primary brake line and the banjo at the master cylinder. Ensure the master cylinder is full of fluid, place rags around the master cylinder area, pump the lever a few times and have someone hold the lever, briefly release the banjo fitting and nip it back up well before the lever bottoms out. You will probably see and hear the air escaping. Repeat the process a few times ensuring that you keep the cylinder full of fluid. To be thorough you can then bleed both calipers making sure that you position the bars so as the caliper bleed nipples are at the highest point. Have fun, Paul.

Insist on test riding another new GenII with ABS at the dealers.

It's a bit of a worry. Brand new bike with dirty brake fluid in it !

I don't reckon electronics should have nothing to do with a Motorcycle's braking system Wtf MR SUZUKI

Is there an option now of purchasing a new Busa now without a "Drunk Woman Cage Driver's ABS Braking System" fitted to it ???

something no one else asked yet....

did you test ride the model before you sat at the salesmans desk and gave him 19 grand?

did you know what you were buying? in terms of what they showed you (or should have) and what you received?

Yeah! 'A good mate of mine' tried some Indian Viagra whilst in the region and discovered that their quality control wasn't up to scratch. Seems like too much of the active ingredient was present. Can you imagine the consequences?

If it turns out to be faulty brakes, from new, then Suzuki are required to fix it by law...they have sold an unroadworthy machine and must do something about it.

As said before go ride a new one with ASB fitted to compare...easiest thing in the world....I would even go to the dealer you bought yours off.

Well then, apart from my old mate CAMEL not being able to get a boner, maybe if he throw's one of those in his tank it it will stiffen up his suspension. Lol2

.., but, really, why stuff around with a State Department, when Barry O'Farrell has already stuffed our NSW CTP Green Insurance more than Bob Carr did.
This should fix your brakes. Should also make new Busa's cheaper without all that ABS crap fitted;
