brembo brake problems
#1
Hope someone can help me, just purchased a 2013 Busa, and the front brakes are S@#T to say the least.
I've had the bike, back to the shop and the mechanic rode it and agreed. I've called Suzuki with nil help available from them. I've put new sports brake pads, better but not good...Has anyone else had problems, i pull the fronts on and dont get any feel until i pull in about 40mm, that cant be right.. When it bites it's o.k but nothing compared to the 2010 model. It has got to be better than this. SURELY.

Get your Suzuki dealer to sort it and lend you something in the meantime. Gav from Kalgoorlie raved about how good they were on his 2013 banana sunday.

when I got my 09,

The front master and callipers weren't bleed up properly and were very soft.
first thing id check.

The std master cylinders are a shit to bleed, they seen to hold air in them.
the brembo calipers are very good and dont really ever go bad.

Sad
Update:Had my brake fluid replaced which was brown like it had been in the master cylinder for three years, weird. Not buy a Suzuki dealer, but buy a guru none the less.

still not impressed with the brakes still got a real spongey feel to the lever. Brakes work but only after there puled in a far bit.

Been a while since I've ridden to 2010 model but correct me if i'am wrong as soon as you pull the lever the front drops?

Is it just me?????

My 2012 still has the tokico(spelling could be wrong) calipers and from new they have been good, Installed a new set of lines (twins from master to caliper) from hell lines, that made a shit load of diference.
I bled mine up and use a vacume bleeder, It still took half bottle of fluid and about an hour to get them bled up correct feel, now she is awsome slight touch and nose dive(original pads still there also).Trophy

To me it sounds like you def, need some time, patients and a new bottle of fluid.
good luck.Pi_thumbsup

My 2012 is bog stock in the braking dept and stops on a dime ..

Hello

The problem with the model 2013 with ABS that one can not bleed just like that.
The reason for this is that the same must be done. With the ABS system
Otherwise, this will never work properly or at all.

So you are required to go long the car and motorcycle must connect the computer to operate ABS pump and only then can you inhibit further bleeding.

Don't forget to bleed all the banjo bolts in the system too, from furthest to the master cylinder last!

Just saying! lol
Good weather, good woman, good road, good bike, good-bye!!

Took it to the nearest dealer who hooked it up to the computer said it was bleed prefect. he took it for a ride said it was fine. just the way the ABS worked. I hate the fell of it.

SO Is anyone interested in buying it. I will sell it for $17000 registered to January 2015. Vic rego.

Find someone else that has one & take it for a spin
If its the same I'm sure you could turn off abs somehow
