Hey Guys,
Can someone please point me towards a good / reasonably priced battery for my gen1
I did a search and battery world seemed to be popular, but my last one was from there and it is a piece of crap (it was never good from day one).
Do any of our vendors sell good batteries ??
Thanks .. Dale

Do not go el-cheapo on the Main Battery. About $250 @ battery world;
YUASA YTZ14S.
I have 1 of the Motobatt batteries to stick in a slightly modified Tiger Racing Gen2 Secondary Battery holder. See how it goes. Had to switch to 24volt starter with 1580cc as the motor didn't want to turn over after it had warmed up, even with BigCC Racing Low Ratio Starter Gear fitted.

I got an AGM Gel battery from SSB for $88 delivered. It is slightly taller than the standard battery but that doesn't seem to be a problem in my Gen 2.
Has more punch than the Yuasa I had in it previously and claim a 2% discharge per month. Been a good battery so far. Also comes with 12 month warranty.

I have MotoBatt's in both Busa's. Very cheap at $65US and they have 4-poles. We don't sell them anymore (just Yuasa), but so far so good.
Not sure if those are available in AU, but the US Distributor is in Florida.
