Then sell the old ones to 2012 ZX-14 owners as a visual impovement!

Comfort kit fitted.

I didn't like the bars that came with it (not enough pull back), so I put on a set of Renthals I had spare.

I have only ridden it around the local streets because of the awful weather up here, but it is great! So comfortable.

I've done a couple of trips, I'm just on 6' and the only thing that bothered me was my sore butt. Will definately be looking at a sheepskin cover or a gel seat. other than that I had no other dramas. I have a non standard screen and that also makes a difference at speed.

Like all before me have said....

Double Bubble Screen for your height
Lower pegs
Gel seat cover or something
Throttlemeister
HID Lights & LED Parker Lights (make you soo much visible)
& if they still can't see you, get a Stebel Air Horn because they will definitely then hear you!!!! (Number 1 mod)

Yes, the kit comes with 4 inch longer lines.

Hello Chris

Of course it depends on the bar shape, but the renthals would be at least 3 inches back and 3 inches higher than stock. Very comfortable.

They will just touch the tank at full lock, but bear in mind that they have quite a bit of pull back at the ends.

The bars that come with the kit did not touch the tank, but they were a bit too straight at the ends for me, if you get my drift.

Ergos are a very personal thing - I do not like straight bars...I was the same with my B-King - I turfed the standard bars within 2 days.

I have to admit that the look of the bike has changed, and it will take a bit of time to get used to it.

However, when you get off the bike after 2 hours and you are not sore, who cares!

The great thing about fitting a new top clamp for dirt bike style bars is that you now have an almost unlimited choice of bars/riser blocks to tailor the mighty Bus to YOU.

Cars come with adjustable seats and steering wheels...why not bikes?

Edit - Oh, BTW, the bars in the pic are the Renthal road bike low model.

If I already had longer brake likes, how would I go about buying the setup you have? Individual parts? Or is the kit customisable?

Roughly how much did it cost you?

OK- I did a quick blast up and down the Gilles today.

Brilliant.

The bars provide great leverage in the twisties.

Sat on 120 on the highway...rock solid.

Like a new bike.

Just fitted a comfort kit the same as Troppo, and I gotta say it`s the best mod I have done on the bike. I`m overage , overweight ,crook back , and was almost at the point of buying a different bike.
Love my busa (no 2) and didn`t want to get rid of it, so if anyone has neck or back problems think of this conversion it is really f...ing great.
Went for a good ride in the hills today no pain..yeeeha.
The ride to Tathra with the Adelaide crew will be the proof of the pudding.
Looking forward to meeting you guys on Friday

Throttlemeisters are the #1 thing we sell on a global scale. Riders love them. I've had mine pushing 10 years - still using same pair on 2nd bike. Taller screens are popular - have shipped many of the Zero Gravity Sport-Touring Screens. Plus the right seat. Just picked up a used Corbin for $150 on Friday.

Tried the Buell Peg Mod - drops down your pegs an 1". Some like that, some don't.

Right now preparing the Busa for an Iron Butt 1000 mile day in Sept.
