When you see a thread that is offensive then post your objections there clearly for the whole world to see. Have the guts to stand up to the offensive person. That is the way to stop these comments.

How do grown men write stuff like this and not know it's wrong to do so? You're not that thick, you clearly know what you're doing. Comments like this can't be met with gentle, reasonable responses indefinately. Eventually, the only way to respond to someone who calls you a dickhead is to respond in kind. We pathetic mamby pambies keep turning the other cheek only to get it persistently smacked before the boot gets stuck in while we're down.

You're changing this from a debate into an all out argument. No one has the right to refer to someone else as a 'dickhead' just because their putting across a viewpoint you don't like, and who are you to tell anyone to fu*k off out of Australia? You may be a proud Australian, but is Australia proud of you? If you're beyond common decency, I think you'll find you're often in the minority and a nuisance to us all.

Ok, I'm going to weigh in here even though I said I was done. Throwdown, you've quoted from two separate threads there, Blackzook didn't say 'f*** off out of Australia' and I very much doubt he would. He did say dickhead though. Please be careful, he isn't guilty of what you are accusing him of.

This response isn't to you Throwdown (nice to have you back incidentally), it is to everyone. I started this thread in response to several members who sent me PMs and messages on facebook complaining about the tone of a thread. I said something on that thread and then started this one to judge the feeling of the members. I was then left swinging by the people who are happy to complain behind the scenes but are cowards when asked to stand up and actually say something. Yes, there are bullies on this site and yes they shit me, but there are only a few.

What I'm getting from this thread is two things. The fuckwits are happy with the status quo. Why wouldn't they be, they created it. Other members are calling for people to stand up and say something if they don't like it. I think that is the way to go, and that is what I was asking for in this thread.

If you don't like something, STAND UP FOR YOURSELF and say something. I do and I get regularly howled down, but it doesn't worry me. I have zero respect for those people anyway. A harsh word from someone I care about will floor me, but not these idiots, it is funny rather than anything else and a real insight into people who think A Current Affair is actual news.

The status quo only exists because you let it. If you don't like something, moderate it yourself by saying something on the thread. The board will survive it.

You should only be able to view a Forum after you have "Logged On".
You can still view the site pages, but, you cannot view the "Forum"
pages until you have "logged on", simple

Throwdown (welcome back), my comment "Dickheads" was not directed at you it was directed at everyone here who reads threads that are obviously biased, bigoted or stupid and get offended or leave without saying their piece in THAT thread. People should stand up and say their piece no matter what those opinions are not just sulk away.

This forum is populated by all sorts of people who have all sorts of views and state them openly, if they are stupid they get shot down by the vocal majority. At least they state their mind, thats what makes this place interesting the variety of members. I say dont over moderate them let everyone state their minds and let everyone else comment on that.

I am part of the political minority here in Australia - white - straight - born here from Aussy born parents - mid range views etc basically the silent majority.

.org is owned by 1 guy. He makes the rules and people like them or walk. Sometimes it doesn't need a democratic process. I don't care if this a PC or redneck site, so long as it's honest about what it is so I can choose whether to be here or not. I don't like it looking like one thing only to be caught off guard. I've got no place on a redneck site, but I respect the right for one to exist. Let's have some clarity!

If posts were put in there corect spot then people could no what to read and what to leave out
I for one dont look at the 18+ thread as it dont intrest me (most times ) nor do i hardley go into the gen 2 section . But this thread is in general bike talk where it should be in (not bike related) .
Then all members can log on check what section they want and leave the shit where it belongs (away from the Bike talk )
