can someone tell me if this dent in the OEM pipes is standard?

need more info what side of the bike is the can off? as much detail as possible always helps

Yes, it's standard...I just checked both of mine and they both have the dents, one side larger than the other :)

Yes Andrew. They are stock like that to allow for the stands to plop into.
P.S. you pipes are much cleaner than mine.

Thanks guys. Busgo the pipes came off when the bike was 3km old.

You guys sure there should be 2 dents in the gear shifter side
pipe?

Only 1 dent on the brake side!

Ok Andrew settle down - they are perfect.
The one extra on the other side is in case you fit a centre stand.
All the stock Gen II pipes have the same dents.
You can relax now mate.

Thats a fair restriction that indentation, Gen 1s dont have it only the inner one.

Was about to go this week and see the mechanic that fitted my 4-1 exhaust and have discussion with him as to why he deemed it necessary to dent my standard pipes, really glad I read this thread first, might have been a very embarrassing and costly affair.
