At the wheel mate.

Why the gen 2 blocks weaker? Made of a different grade of metal or?
Lots asking that question but need a metallurgist to discover why.

At the wheel....
SHEEEEET!

That should buck you like a wild bronco!
Cant wait till its finished so you can tell us about it!

enjoy bruce. from what i've read the head won't need much touching as they breathe a lot better than the stock gen 1's heads that have been done up. ie when someone gets a port job and clean on a gen 1 head you will end up with a gen 2 stock head which is something suzuki have done.

happy to be corrected as one day i will get mine off the bike.

you also forgot to mention the box of goodies in your shed planned for it. YEEHA!

must have been a late night and a few drinks.

both heads will flow the same once ported.

the gen 2 flow better stock to begin with so require less work.

Correct both gen heads will have similar flow once ported however the quality of porting makes an enormous difference. I had an interesting conversation with Carpenter racing last night. This build just got a lot more expensive.
