I have posted on the MYBB Forum asking.

Go sign up to Whirlpool and see how long you would last over there.
They would delete your thread without question if it breaks their rules.

I dont like rules at all. Generally moderators action are fair and reasonable, one moderator pisses me and many others off for the following reasons.

Inappropriate discussion on this board.
Deleting posts for no reason other than personal ones.
Arrogant attitude to any one who does not share his views.
Abusive attitude to others who do not share his views.
Holier than thou attitude
Devisive action on this forum generating a them and us attitude.

This is not a personal vendetta its my opinion of his actions and I am not alone. Im my opinion this moderator is the only reason I want transparency in moderators actions. If all actions are reported in a public log then we can all see what moderation actually happens here.

Why would anyone object to their actions being recorded and visible to the forum.

moderators are in place to keep an even flow and sometimes posts need to be deleted. sometimes people have bad days and good days.when they have a bad day they type some aweful and regrettable things.its lucky there are modertors in place to save alot of embarresment especially abusive and unfounded comments
i reckon the mods have a bloody tough job and thankless.no pay totally volunteer their time for what? to be singled out with vendettas.

also i do not get how you can be friends with people from the forum and ride together have outing and share great times then attack them from behind the keyboard?

I am a member of whirlpool and I agree with your observations. There is a wealth of information over there, very much like this forum when I was first looking for a Hayabusa. Whilst they are ruthless they do explain why a thread or post dissapeared, even if it is in two words or less.

Since this issue last raised its head. The moderators here have notified of every action taken either to the user or the forum.

I would have to agree with Busgo as far as I see.
There have already been run ins so even more so if a post is edited the Mods go out of there way to make sure the poster and readers knows why.
I really don't get what this is all about.
But it is being taken seriously from the Admins and they are trying to do the best they can to keep everyone happy which sometimes unfortunately is impossible..

why fix something that is not broken?

the way things are are good..only a few get upset..why do the few rule the majority.

i was on the phone tonight with another member(female .dont start the rumours i,m now gay as well as having an affair).


seems there has been a number of members now not willing to participate in the forum due to non mods shooting them down..so they say "ok stuff this for a joke"
maybe whirlpool and other forums that take no prisoners view have a point
.i personally would hate too see that sort of responsibility put on our mods.it would not be fair and spoilt the carefree side of the forum.

thats why i say dont fix something that isnt broke

I have been watching this discussion of course and staying out of it until just now.

Blackzook initiated a request to introduce rules for the moderators and explained his reasons why.
He also asked for those with grievances to display them.
So far I can see only a couple of members, well maybe a few, who have taken up the offer.
Otherwise support for the mods has been good.
Therefore I see no reason why we should not continue on the same good easy going path that we have adopted since this issue was last raised.

That being a policy of notifying any transgressor of action taken either personally by a PM or publicly by a post on the forum.

Introducing rules and regulations that require more action than that by people who do this job out of good intention and love for the club rather than financial reward is simply prompting the people who care most about the club to leave.
I am acused of over moderation.
What is to be expected of an admin that spends a few hours a day here attending to requests and keeping in touch?

Of course, I will be the first to act if necessary because in most instances, I see it first, BUT the other admins also take action when required and I am not around.
So this finger pointing bullshit is just that. Bullshit.
If you need moderation, you get it and now, you get notified.

Sorry, Not end of story.
I forgot to mention that suggesting that an Admin has less rights than any other member to participate in banter, is wrong. We are here as admins because we love the forum and add to it or detract from it the same as any other member.
Other admins can certainly pull us into line if needed. We endure the same rules as regular members too.
