Anyone scraping pegs?
#1
Hi guys, I didnt want my first post to be a complaint about my new baby.... but I'm going to be sad if after buying the "ultimate machine" that I can't throw her into the corners like I want to...... I've just bought an 06 Hayabusa and went for a play on Putty road only to find I was scraping the pegs on tight corners...... is this a common issue?

Thanks! At the moment, I'm on putty every weekend. (addicted much?) I looked at the 08/09, but the budget didn't allow me to look for long, needed to save some back for all the tyres I'll go through Violin

I've not heard of many scraping the pegs.
Unless you still have the blobs at the ends of the standard pegs.
I think they will bottom out.
Just take those warning blobs off or add GSX1100 pegs to it.
Have them on mine and no issues although they are a bit small.

Already took the blobs off, but i think i'll steal my srad's pegs before it goes Wm and give those a go.

I raise the back with end dogbones and that gives much better clearance...
