I think I will report this thread to the authorities...

You can rename the Club as Ulysses then RollLol2

I know more Ulysses members that make and drink moonshine than any other bikers.... They are always looking for the cheapest booze around. Maybe you should join the queue Pommie.

I've been a Ulyssean for 14 years Pommie. I think I've outgrown the concept even though I have hundreds of friends in the club. Most of the older bolder members are hanging up their boots and helmets and a very soft new age biker style is taking over.

Most of our local groups are becoming havens for cruiser riders and late learners. They seem to have become centred on charity fund raising instead of hell raising and "Growing Old Disgracefully", as the original concept dictated back in the 80's.
I got into trouble from the local committee for leading a group of sports riders on a spirited run that everyone enjoyed. Not one person on the run had a problem, but the "committee" decreed that it was not in the interest of the club to take such risks and I have not been asked to lead a ride since.

Still have lots of fun with the "unofficial" runs and lots of great mates though.

I dont have a lot to do with it either, too much in fighting in the Gold Coast branch, too much political correctness on the forum, I think I'm still too young in the head for them. (Bones say differently at times ). It would probably be a happier place if they restricted it to cruisers. Would get rid of 50% of the cause for arguments immediatelyBiker
