See, I can't shake the feeling that you are accusing us of sitting and drinking coffee, not riding. That is a pretty big call mate.

Anyone?

Hey John,
you'll usually pull a "Ride Manner Dangerous" if you get your front wheel off the road at all mate. That's pretty standard here in the ACT, and our coppers aren't as feral as those traffic wallopers you have in NSW. A Manner dangerous is veiwed pretty seriously by most Courts and will usually lead to loss of licence and a pretty still fine. If you add speed the totals just keep going upwards.
Cheers

Good weather, good woman, good road, good bike, good-bye!!
I have a theory (the Canberra Club loves a theory).
There are two types of people who ride motorcycles, the ones who talk and the ones who ride. The ones who talk themselves up a lot, are rarely the ones who can actually put the rubber to the road. It is usually the ones who don't talk themselves up all the time who actually ride.
OH SORRY, am I being a prick?

I agree totally - I had a friend that used to tell me how much he liked to ride and wanted to buy another motor x bike ( sorry this is about dirt bikes not my busa! )
So he finally got his CR250 ( i had a CR500 ) so of to the bush we go - takes us about 2 hours to get to the riding spot - I am all set up for a full days ride ..... after 2 hours of riding ( 20 min each time because he is a pussy ) he informs me that he wants to go home now to wash his bike ?????
WHAT the hell ???? I tell him he has ALL friggen week to wash his bike -- but insists that it will take him hours to polish the bike. So very pissed off - we packed up and set back home --
Few days later he rings me to organize a ride the following weekend - in which i told him thanks but no thanks. I bust my ass working hard all week and live for the rides --- i don't work that hard to ride my bike for 2 hours then spend 5 hours cleaning it ...
My stunt jumper possibly washed during the week , and that was via a High pressure water blaster - 10 minutes - maybe 30 min Pm work - filters and so forth
So as Heidi pointed out - some are riders that dont want to talk --- some are Talkers that are in love with the idea of riding ....
