Raptor Shift Lights
Hi Andy. Initially set had them as a 4 cylinder, but it only worked when set as an 8 at first, so 4 wasn't working at all.

It turned out to be an earth problem and it now works perfectly (I think). Have you seen my pics earlier about earthing? Where did you earth yours?

I had a chat to FF1 this afternoon everything is Fine , Earth is straight to the frame , I am not silly Guys , I had an Auto electician fit mine after seeing all the mistakes you guys made !!!

Setting actually works on 2 cylinders and ff said keep it if it works and if it plays up I will set it to 4 cyl and halve the revs if I want !!!!

Even though I earthed mine elsewhere, it still flashed during the ride today... need a better earth (than the red arrow point).

Andy, where did you earth it?
Straight into the frame, but how did you contact it?

Oh, by the way Bill, it's

Hey Pan ,

If you follow the brake fluid line out of the reservoir towards the forks and the frame , you will find a bolt halfway down, probably 25cm down and screwed directly into the frame and very easy to unscrew and then rescrew on the earth wire !!! (on the left hand side of the bike as you would be sitting on it)

Quote:Pan you should go to the main frame for earth, get away from the fairing bracket as at least one of the bolts that hold it to the frame at the headstock is rubber insulated, therefore is not a real good grounding point at the best of times. a good earth with a constant 12volts and your probs are over.

Pan get of that bloody insulated Instrument panel support and you will be laughing
Andy have a few bling bling shiny bits what ya chasing ?
