What is a Shift Light ?
Shift lights are for alerting the driver when to shift gears. They allow the driver to stay focused on the road or track, without having to look down at the factory tachometer. Under fast acceleration, the last thing you want to do is take your eyes off the road!

Is it the one on the right of the dash?
If so it looks bigger on the bike than in the pic.

Super easy Chunky ..................three wires earth power and tach wire, set switches and its done. I would say 15 minutes once decision where to locate light is decided.

When you say 15min what has to be removed to be fitted this is one item I am looking for it might just finally get my bike thrown off the track when I break the 10:50 and how accurate are the settings on it Regards Bill

The only part you need to remove is the left hand dash surround Bill. Tap into the tach wire power and earth and set the switch to the mode you want and thats it. Accuracy is spot on have tried and tested it on my own bike and I can assure you if anything doesn't do the job right I won't have it.

Well Bill they all have red led's (can get other colours) but red hits ya the most. As the blue case is different to the blue of your bike I'd either go with the black or chrome case myself...................the end call is yours <i>Edited by: fasterfaster1 at: 24/10/05 8:03 pm

do you actually see the case I thought it was just the top of the light that stuck out if you see it i guess chrome but if you cant then i would be going black so it was hidden
