I've just gotten SMS messages from Sydney to Bathurst and even weather on radar looks grim. 3 riders have pulled out and they are pretty darn good riders.

May be dangerous so I'm calling it off...

Sorry if you've gotten this too late....

May post again if it's better at 10am to meet for lunch in the Mountains...

Plan B...

Rose Hill/Parra Maccas 10:30 meet for 11am departure.
Then off to Prospect (Bruce's place) at 11:30, to Richmond (12?) then Mt. Victoria by 1ish for lunch...

See you if you make it.

SMS me if your late/lost (0414 250975)

Brilliant. Not a drop of rain all day, cool breezes, great roads, no police (except when 3 of us were about to have a drag race from the lights! ) and good company.

We ended up going to Mt.Victoria via the Bells Line of Road, had lunch at the pub , then did a 240km loop out the back of Bathurst, had coffee back at Mt. Victoria then home via Bells again...

4 Busas, and none of them from the Blue Mountains or beyond (all Sydney people)...

What happenend to you (locals) guys?

Will post pictures in Club photos in the next few days (when I repair computer probs...)

Fck yeah - stick it to the Bussa ..

Thats the scnd tyme Ive ridn thoze rodes. Some of 'em r prity ruff, but then some of 'em are just brilliant..

Love the Avon Vipers I'm using, they grip just fine and feel luvly being pushed through sweapers and even the tight stuff.

The weather was great, the wind a little challenging on the way home, and a bit chilly over the mtns for a while - but overall I had a fantastic 600 odd kms. Thanks guys, will catch all yall again soon.

Yeeha

Yeh Tycho, seems those Vipers are very grippy, but I think you need tyres with more grip on the front...

43 tooth sprocket makes it much easier, but he was doing it on standard sprockets!!! ... and making it look easy.

Chunky, you and I may have to practice those wheelies in a local car park some day... and maybe we could borrow Simmo's bike too...
