Have faith Gazza all will be right on the day.
I wont be out there till about 2, but thanks for the offer of a ride mate. So does anyone want the use of the trailer for the weekend? I have that dirty big drag tyre and wheel if anyone wants to try it out, easy 10 minute swap out at the track could pick up a tenth or two??? Dave

Simmo, do you want to borrow the trailer and the wheel?
I can even put what ever size rear sprocket you want on it. You will need the trailer to bring your beer home anyway.

with ya anyway..later on in the night there'll be plenty of bikes to ride
Simmo will need a taxi to cart his beer home anyway.

mmmmm why do I feel outnumbered?

Well Bruce since Simmo doesn't want to use the wheel and tyre, do you want to give it a go?
What sprockets are you using now? The drag tyre will need a couple of extra teeth on the rear sprocket so I will change it to suit for you, I will bring it out and we can change it between runs if you want. Dave

Thanks for the offer mate, I'm running 16/42 at the moment. My problem is not traction or gearing more the nut behind the wheel. After Wednesday I'm sure I have the way forward.
See you Sunday the forcast is now for a fine dry day yahooooo Bruce N2O no laughing matter

Ok again I have to put my 2 cents worth in.
In my experience in drag racing a slick is not meant to be used with suspension. So unless you are going to take the suspension out and put a strut in I sugest that you guys give the slick a miss. We have proven this to be true at least two times now. First time was with the Silver bike. The second time was with much convincing to John Cooper to go back to a street tyer and when he did he ran a PB straight away and never looked back. Sorry Dave but you know me, I say it as I see it. But what would I know, Owner of the first 7 sec Street bike in Oz

Yeah I know Dee, but you know it is staying on that wheel till it is worn out, and I don't care who wears it out.

18 bikes entered into streetfighter should be a great day if the weather holds off. Bruce
