The next time anyone is doing air-horns let me know. I'm in..... Always wanted a bigger, louder one... I'll even stay around & watch while you fit them for me..

I know a couple of people have done it, and though I looked at their images and figured I'd do the same, I couldn't seem to get them to fit in, so I created another way...
I looked at this... ...but it seemed easier to fit it in here... ...and it sounds like this!

Okay, so I may have had a bit of help with the installation ... but I pressed that horn switch all on my own!

i heard there is an easier way to do them by putting under hump???
That looks like too much time for me. I could be on the computer for at least another 3 hrs...

DjPete Wrote:i heard there is an easier way to do them by putting under hump??? ...thought about that, but I have my wet weather gear under the hump, so it's a bit squishy. Also, if it's under the hump it may make it look like you're farting! Actually, wouldn't it be great if they had a fart horn?

I had a claxton horn fited to a car, it certainly got attention and puzzled looks when folks didn't see a vintage car approaching. Unfortunately its' too big and heavy to fit on a Busa.
"par excellence"

surely in this day and age there should be something loud and compact easily fitted to the Bus?
See there are... http://www.twistedthrottle.com/trade/pro...YgodNFVSbQ Others out there too. here Local Qld Around 70 landed. Anyone interested in trying for a group buy? I'de rather go this way and put it under the hump or on the side of the bike. One fairing off vs whole nose fairing off and tubes to connect to inlets etc...I don't like the idea of vacuum leaks down the track... or this one at half the price. fits straight on...nothing else. Just dont tell me ya have to pull the nose off to get to the stadard horn... Check them out and listen here |
