Thanks for the heads up on the kryptonite lock, sounds good, I think I saw some baseplate type lock in one of the mags, will certainly enquire about it.

Aerocat4 - I'm the process of actually getting the Busa, so I'll hold off till I've actually got it, and the alarm, otherwise I'll forget how to do it.
Could you have a look at this link and tell me whether yours is the 860 or 860ti.

They look pretty pricey, will have to reconsider depending on how effective the lock I get seems.

860 Vi - You either order a H for Horizontal mounting or V for Vertical mounting. Where is this web site address that you can look these alarms up on. I've previously just bought from the International supllier in Perth direct. Peter

Hey Aero, I'm not sure WTF happened to the link that I put in there. NM though. Do you have the phone # of the Laserline distributor still, or remember the name? Did a quick search on the Googler but couldn't find anything useful.

Enquired about that Kryptonite lock, and also a chain, from MCA, got quotes of $140 for the Dynabolt lock and $230 for the NY Forgeddaboutit chain + lock, which is the strongest that they make.
Sounds like a worthy investment I guess, might as well get it as a once off and then have more peace of mind. Apparently a guy working there *managed* to cut through one of the other Kryptonite chains, with $400 bolt cutters but in the process of doing so f*cked em right up. heh cool.
