Metzeler Sportec M1 tyre howling

Hmmm.... my bike had 3,500km on it when I got these tyres and they've been on 4,000 km and they still don't make a howling noise. The only howl I've ever heard is when I'm overtaking something or otherwise enjoying the more spirited aspects of my ride. Geeze... did I miss out or something ?

I've got standard rims, cogs, chain etc. Maybe my helmet just has better sound insulation ?

Forgot to post this a couple of weeks ago, but cheaked my tyre pressures and both were low (straight from action s). Since then no more howling. Seem to be getting good tyre wear as Ive been 2 up with luggage every where. The lesson here is always cheak your tyres yourself, never trust anyone else. Lets face it there the only thing keeping us safe
