Well, I just had a look at the bike again, and I can't believe it's so good. Makes sense about riding fast at tracks and not on the road.
Thinking back it must have rained really hard and really quick because I started dry, fell off after 8sec or so, but then slid for I don't however long it takes to stop from that speed. Yet absolutely you could find any serious abrasion to clothing! It was slippery as ice! By the time we got to the bikes, it had stopped again, but one marshall fell over just trying to stop after running to my bike to switch it off!
By the time I rode it back they were prepping the track again!
Mind you a thoroughly worn Shinko doesn't have any grip when there's a drip of water around.
But I thought part way through it, that something, a shoe or clothing would grip and I'd start tumbling.
Just my lucky day eh?
Mind you I'm cancelling the July track day!
Lucky by the sound of it Bear.
Glad u r ok.
Would have looked great for the spectators!
