Gutting the standard mid pipes

perhaps i'm missing something here, but its a hell of a lot less trouble and not much money to take your mid pipes to any half decent exhaust place and get them to make up some replacement stainless ones. I can't remember exactly how much mine cost but they were cheap as f*** and there are no fugly welds to look at.

Just my 2 cents, I suppose there are still people who like to do things the hard way.
