Brrrr. Cold start issue

I was reading the manual last night and in the section about sensors it said that if one is dodgy the computer reverts to a generic set of parameters that assure starting under general conditions.

I think I will pop down to the shop and have a chat with the mechanic. Wouldn't hurt to have the throttle bodies professionally balanced. I can't justify buying the proper computer interface and quite frankly I don't need the learning curve right now. When they have the bike hooked up their computer should show if anything is amiss.
