There are many carriers. Guys on the Horizons forums have shipped from oz to south Africa etc bikes like gs1200s etc for a good price. Though this is a bit expensiftve it saves all the hassles and has a better connection with people than a hire bike.
a bike is more than a wife, it's a relationships.
wound you leave u r wife at home and hire one overseas? Some would but I prefer taking my own bike along. It's a commitment and a valuable relationship I have with my bike. I have ridden nearly a lap of oz since I bought it new and have had a great time and would like to extend the experience.
