Kinda fun, but cold and too many cars tonight.
I think everyone else thought "they'll all be watching the State of Origin", so there were heaps of bikes, heaps of cars, and we got about 4 or 5 runs.
Most of us were having trouble with grip due to the poor track preparation and very cold conditions.
The racing: neither Blues or Reds won, I don't think. Simmo pulled a rabbit outta the hat with his last run, managing a 10.2 (60 foot time was 1.7!!!) LOOK OUT BRUCE!!!
It was good to catch up with the Canberra Group, Dan, Max, Heidi and Les (Busdriver)... they must've thought it was quite warm, compared to Canberra weather, because at one point (I kid you not), Max and Busdriver were in the stands taking their tops off and showing us their nipples!!!
It was also good to meet the new guys, Andrew (Speedzalot), Rick, and other Busa owners...
