FI bike cutting out

hey guys,
had been riding my bike all day today,
but on the way back home i lost count of the number
of times the bike cut out and the FI light was flashing,
i could turn the ignition off and back on again and the bike would restart,
i did a search and couldnt find anything, also checked the owners
manual and all they suggest is take it too suzuki,
any ideas what i might need to suss out?
