i have a set of yoshi R77 Slip ons and have been considering getting a power commander, would this be a better option?

Hands down Ryan theres not a lot it cant do eg Custom tuning of fuel maps, boostcontrol, nos set up, ingnition kills, top speed limits removed, turn off key imob option, no 02 sensor, etc the list goes on & on
Power commander( now considered old )( reguards to Busa tuning ) is only only an option IF
you cant do it yourself & need to go to a shop for tuning as they dont touch the ecu edit flashing
Or You spend the $ to buy a PC load a map off the net which is a waste of money if you dont still take it to a shop to have it tuned correctly to your bike.

Considering you only have the slip ons its a bit of an out lay if your not going to be playing with it all the time
you would be better off just spending the money & going to Petes Pitstop to get the whole lot done in 1 go & then forget it & just ride
Sure, problem is, there ain't no downloadable maps for a 1580cc stroker motor on the net. & most are set up with different cams n porting etc Sure, it'd go on the dyno. Mmmmmm ....copy a PCIII 1340map to a PCV file +18%. At least it'll start n you'll get it idling cool n smoothbefore it hits the dyno with autotune. Sure, you can disable your idle speed control & avoid fitting an XTRE. Reset idle speed to 1270-1300rpm by fooling the ecu with throttle position sensor position & reducing throttle stop gap on Gen2's Generally, every motorcycle dyno operator here knows the PCdr software, & it's easy to get a dyno tune whereever you are. N what if ya running a supercharged 1507, where ya gona download a map for that? Has Pete got a bin file? You've still gota get it on a dyno whereever you are. And, if somebody wanted to do it all themselves
--AFR maps n train to PCV AFR maps on the road yourself. You'll find that a lot use both Editor n PCV.Undecided

Is uncle CAMEL back @ work yet, or is his back still rooted ?
