G'day
FWIW, my 99 had a slave cylinder leak, and I replaced it with a genuine 99 part, but that lasted less than 12 months before starting to leak again. I commented when it was in for a service and the slave cylinder was replaced by a current (06) jobbie, which looks the same and bolts straight in. But the lever effort is slightly higher and the clutch engages over a shorter travel, so I deduced there must be a slight difference in bore. However, well worth doing, IMO.
