Yep thats what happens, dogs don't engage properly for what ever reason and it kicks back against the forks, then its buggered from that moment as the damaged fork will not engage the dogs enough , and everytime it jumps it rounds the dogs more making the problem worse.
Did you get my mail?
BTW gsxr's are undercut std in all gears and don't have this problem.
