The Bus wont start!

so whats this abut the 99/00 models???...

the bike was sitting around for about 2months(no rego -with the occasional start up)
got rego about a month ago, and for the last 2weeks ive had to push start everytime!

ive had the bike going on 2yrs.
the previous owner hasnt got back to me about how old the battery is...and im hoping it just have to change the battery.
will get her running tomorrow and test to see if its charging...

hope its charging... if not $$$

can you push start the bike? was under the thinking that you couldn't do it as you need the clutch in to start it normally!!
