There is a few of us that have run in SA ,

What class are you wanting to run in,
for some classes its as simple as wire tieing sump plug,axles and pinch bolts, suitable gear without too many breather holes

Class... not sure. I intend to start off as basic as possible to get an idea if I really want to head down this track. I'm prepared to put a bit of cash forward to mods but aim to keep it all as simple as possible to start.
I figured lock wiring would be the obvious starting point.

For mods I was looking at heading down the weight reduction path first before anything else, but was curious for the need to consider suspension setups, lowering, sprockets etc...
