race stands from kaneg

I have also bought some race stands from kaneg and recieved them today and have a few questions on the correct procedure for sitting the bike on the stands.how do you position the bike on the rear stand? can you do this on your own or does it require another pair of hands?how do you position the two prongs on the front stands in relation to the forks?.As you can see i am a novice at using race stands and terrified of dropping my 99 on its side so any advice or help will be greatly appreciated. regards fonc.
