As far as comfort goes, its really a suck it and see. What I find comfy, others wouldn't and vice versa.
For example I find my Gen 1 about as comfy as my early R1 I owned. I rode the R1 5500km in 6 days and got off feeling good every time. Rode my busa 2500km in 2 1/2 days feeling just as good. Size matters too.
Thats my 4.25 cents worth (after GST).
Thanks for that info mate, got a few big rides planned for the next few years, Adelaide to Cannbera then up to Mackay and Adelaide to Darwin.
