Thanks Guys this is a big help, not fussed whether I get the insert complete with the mesh afixed or not - just need to get my hands on that damm mesh.
I really want to get this bike back to stock standard for looks and performance.

Appreciate your effort Rod and Max, let me know the $cost.

Ray, I think that you assume I would part with the fishnet's that I wear under my leathers when riding - no ! way ! * and I just don't trust blueytac. Cheers ya bugger you know the effort going in on this bike.
