Have you checked if the clutch plates (steels and fibres) are not warped? This can be done by placing one plate at a time on a flat surface (eg. a sheet of glass) and see if the plate rocks or wabbles.Also,what type of engine oil are you using? Some engine oils (for motor cars) are not compatible with motorcycle clutches!

Had a race meeting last night and same thing, 3 good runs then it turned to s#*t. Will pull clutch apart again and double check everything. Was told to fit some components from a later model busa ( 2001 to 2006 ). Jutter spring and washer assembly( thinks thats right) this may help i hope.
