The new anti-biker laws in NSW for one. How will that affect the AHC if registered?
In theory I think it's a great idea and a chance to open up more AHC sponsored things like track days, drag days, club meets, club merchandise, raffles and competitions etc..
However, I do think it will change the AHC in a big way and many may not like the idea. I do think it is an avenue worth exploring though regardless of the outcome.
just a quick thourt to keep in mind is being a registerd club wont bring attention to the authorities as we are not looked at like a patch club . registering a club mmeans we need to have a president(or figure head) a treasure and we need to submitt financials as well. which means we need to have all members join and pay a fee to be a member with a voice ,
im in the middle of getting a club i have been with for many yrs up and into a registered club and i tell you this as it is alot of grunt work and not as easy as it sounds .
