Checked my spare rods and there still good, no rust (they went to the salt lakes this year as spectators not workers)
I also checked the address in case you need it for Paul England , they welded,reground & nitrided a gpz900 crank journal for me a couple of years ago , worked out better and cheaper than buying a s/h crank , But it depends on the damage.
