I knew it, I was a Juinor Cadet about about 36 years ago, man time flies.
I still dabble with the nitro/methanol motors and radio control.
Add up all of the above points ie: less calorific value of fuel but higher fuel/air ratio cancells, higher latent heat of vapourisation cools intake air charge for greater density, if set up correctly it should add up to more power.
