Hope it turns out to be a simple fix , like a timing chain tensioner
Motors arn't cheap as the busa powered mini car market seems to have set the price for a motor at around $5k although there was a motor with no extras on ebay for ~2.5k a while ago
If you need parts Gazza has some pistons, i have some standard rods 14000kms in good condition, i have had bike cranks reclaimed by Paul England engineering in (its been a while i may have to check) i think Ascot vale rd Essendon for $400/journal.
