Rules For Moderators

I have been watching this discussion of course and staying out of it until just now.

Blackzook initiated a request to introduce rules for the moderators and explained his reasons why.
He also asked for those with grievances to display them.
So far I can see only a couple of members, well maybe a few, who have taken up the offer.
Otherwise support for the mods has been good.
Therefore I see no reason why we should not continue on the same good easy going path that we have adopted since this issue was last raised.

That being a policy of notifying any transgressor of action taken either personally by a PM or publicly by a post on the forum.

Introducing rules and regulations that require more action than that by people who do this job out of good intention and love for the club rather than financial reward is simply prompting the people who care most about the club to leave.
I am acused of over moderation.
What is to be expected of an admin that spends a few hours a day here attending to requests and keeping in touch?

Of course, I will be the first to act if necessary because in most instances, I see it first, BUT the other admins also take action when required and I am not around.
So this finger pointing bullshit is just that. Bullshit.
If you need moderation, you get it and now, you get notified.
