tathra is a great place,i lived in bega for a year and use to do all the roads in the area,i did a bit of courier work among other things.even the road from bega to tathra is fun.its tar on the coast road up to bermagui now,the pub has the best t bone steaks you,ve had in your life(angus beef
) there was a restaurant on the beach in the old surf club building which is pretty cool too.if it was timed with when the candelo markets are on that would be great too,(the best little buy anything market ive ever been to).
