Filtering in Brisbane

I've been searching the Legislation & Road Rules for Qld & can't find anything which specifically pertains to "filtering". Trix, the sections you note are definately a guideline & most likely could be argued in court. I think the biggest drawback is the section where it notes that 2 "bikes" can travel side by side in 1 lane, but must be 1.5m apart. This could possibly be applied to a bike slipping down the middle as it is not 1.5m from the other vehicles in the same lane. Even though the Legislation says "2 motorcycles" rather than "2 vehicles".

If anyone can find specific legislation or road rules pertaining to filtering in Queensland I'd be interested to read it.

I've sent an email to the relevent dapt asking them to point me to the sections in the legislation & also the road rules. Have had no reply as yet.
