False neutral between 5th & 6th

um yea ...whatever.to the last post and to the second last post....

i treat my bike with respect. your number 2 point is exactly my bug bear.it will not "simply " go into neutral whilst letting the clutch in and out.dont you think i have already tried that?


i am an experienced rider with 35 years of knowlegde under my belt.
so i am no fool.
not only experienced with bikes but trucks cars and anything else you would like too name..


i say it how it is.

When I first got my gen 2 Jan 08, the box false neutralled in 5th & 6th gears all the time. I asked the question and got lots of useless advice. The best was don't use the clutch on change-ups to 5 & 6 and this works without a hard shift but must roll-off the throttle. You can still do quick changes even quicker! For my bike I use this method now for change ups from 3rd without problem. Mind you I've only achieved 3500km in 12 months but when I do ride I am a lawbreaker (sorry to admit it).
