Something of mild interest , and kind of on topic - i was reading through a motorcycle magazine maybe a year ago ( don't remember which one ) And there was a guy that had been pulled over from police, the guy was doing double to speed limit on the freeway - so off to court he had to go
He was charged with Speeding and driving in a dangerous reckless manor- At court he coped the speeding fine on the chin but got his solicitor to fight the other charge.
His defense was that he was an armature Motorcycle racer and as a result he was often traveling at such high speeds and therefore in perfect control of his vehicle at all times and not riding in a dangerous and reckless manor --
Judge agreed and dropped that charge , but still pinned him for the speeding fine
maybe useful information to those of use that race in any kind of capacity and can prove your handling of a vehicle at such high speeds
