On another forum I belong to they have a "Projects / Information" section.
In this section club members who are "in the know" can submit step-by-step instructions for doing just about anything. This then helps others who are newbies, or someone who just wants to see how someelse doe it. (whatever 'it' maybe).
The author would also add notes about issues & problems they found when doing the specific "project" & offer ways to overcome this.
It would not be an area for general banter back & forth. The Project info would be submitted to the Admins & posted by them.
Anyone with questions could start a thread in the appropriate area.
The info would need to be step-by-step & very detailed so that anyone could follow it.
Things like
Changing a headlight globe.
Fitting heated grips
Changing a windscreen
Fitting a ctr stand
Tensioning the chain
Changing / replacing guage faces
Right up to fitting a Turbo.
What do you think?????

Would be easier if it was all in one place & formalised.
