I have to speak up for my nappy-clad brethren. I'm over the moon about my busa. I've wanted one since I was a pimply teenager and now I've got one, I couldn't be happier. I went the long route via a liter V-twin for self preservation purposes (experience) and I have not yet cracked the 30 barrier (because of course everyone over 30 is by definition old).
Most people my age comment that they would kill themselves on a busa or they would loose their license et al. The best thing about having a busa over a liter bike is people just nod and move on when they see you on your busa - they don't try to race you. I agree with Dan85 - the reason people go for litre bikes is to be the next Rossi/Stoner.
