I was testing s2000 injectors with a modified map sensing pc3usb and 1.7:1 reg today
realy notice the big injectors at cold start when ecu richens the mixture, and on closed throttle overrun .. but not too much just runs a bit rougher for a bit cold and pops (probably flames at nite) on overrun otherwise its running good, still have a bit of tuning to do but i like the results so far.
Biggest thing i'm waiting for is to reprogramme the std ecu, (coming soon) be able to fix these sorts of probs easily, like available on many other bikes now.
I was just curious as to how this setup would be received, as it's been used for about 9 months now with good results, with boost ranging between 8 & 20psi. 20psi made 297hp with 60kph of tyre slip on the dyno roller. It's had a failure early on, but this was due to a kinked the water injection hose and not as a result of a tuning problem. The bike rides as well as a stocker does, fuel economy is on average is as good or better than most. Recent shop ride of 280km, the distance was evenly split between WOT and cruising through known radar haunts, it actually bettered the economy of other Busas's on the ride.
How does this fuel comsumtion compare to others?
